April Lockhart

April Lockhart, born in 1995 on the 4th day of July, began taking piano and guitar lessons from seven years old. She was interested in writing songs was ignited. When she was 12 years old, April wrote her first song Different. At 14, April spent much time writing lyrics and perfecting her music skills. Then, in the following months, April began to travel with her dad and write at home in NY as well as LA. April began including other topics in the book, Take My Hand, for those of her peers who struggled in the face of peer pressure, disability or even suicidal thoughts. Lockhart has become a sought-after lifestyle influencer as well as being a partner with clean-cut beauty brands Ilia, has built a large following. Lockhart was never born having a left-handed hand, which is why she's the person she is. However, that's not the whole story. Lockhart's Instagram page doesn't overlook the fact that she has a disability. However, it doesn't insist on the issue. The message is? The message is that we are more than our physical selves. Our identities are complicated and include a myriad of aspects. Lockhart talks via video in Nashville. "I don't want it to define my personal life. I do not want to be merely identified as a specialist in disability. It doesn't impact my daily life. I conduct things normally, and I've discovered the best way for me to adapt things. In addition, I see that it is a crucial part of myself. Lockhart encourages us to keep striving to be self-accepting. However, she acknowledges going through periods of being uncomfortable with her body at times being unsure about wearing certain types of clothing which showed off her arms. Today, she wears whatever she wants and posts pictures of herself in these outfits on social media, she is proud of herself. The self-love she talks about is a journey. I'm not sure whether you'll get to the final stage. However, that is common for anyone that is prone to doubts. The people around you with, who know your personal story and who can look through your eyes are the ones you should be relying on to remind you of what you're concerned about.
